What makes a good candidate.
People of all ages are unhappy with the appearance of their nose and have reshaping surgery. The minimum recommended age for rhinoplasty is 15 years old, and may be higher for boys. There is no upper age limit for rhinoplasty.
If you are in good health, rhinoplasty can be performed in conjunction with a facelift or other rejuvenative surgeries to correct changes of the nose due to aging such as a drooping tip. Some breathing problems related to internal nasal structures can also be corrected at the time of surgery. Typically, the entire nose reshaping surgery is done through tiny incisions within the nostrils eliminating additional scaring.
