What makes a good candidate.
The recovery process begins immediately following surgery. Planning your post-operative recovery is often as important as the surgery itself. Although most of the patients that undergo smaller and shorter procedures spend their first post-operative night in the comfort of their own home, patients undergoing longer, more involved procedures are usually more comfortable and secure in the hands of trained professionals. To meet these after-care needs of our patients, we maintain relationships with fully staffed recovery centers, highly qualified nursing personnel, and limousine services. Dr. Stanton will advise you if the surgery you are considering would be best recovered in this manner. Our surgery coordinator will then arrange all the necessary accommodations needed for your comfort and recovery during your post-surgical aftercare.
